Architect

About the role

HS Design Studio is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its team in DHA, Karachi. You will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings, and preparing design documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create and refine architectural designs from concept through construction.
• Produce detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Participate in client meetings, incorporate feedback, and manage project progress.
• Support quality control and contribute to design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture; professional licensing or registration preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Familiarity with Karachi’s building codes and construction practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively on‑site and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong attention to detail and a portfolio of completed projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D modeling software.
