Area IDT Data & Analytics Manager – APMEA Central

About the role

BAT is seeking an Area IDT Data & Analytics Manager for the APMEA Central region, based in Islamabad. The role will lead the development and execution of the data and analytics strategy to drive business performance and long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and delivery of a data and analytics roadmap, translating business priorities into scalable AI, automation and analytics capabilities.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology leaders, shaping data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.
• Own the data & analytics portfolio, managing demand, investment prioritisation, financial planning and risk management from concept to operational embedding.
• Define and evolve the operating model, governance, funding and delivery structures to maximise the value of data investments.
• Partner with global and regional teams to align priorities, integrate platforms and ensure adoption of data solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data & analytics, business intelligence, data management or digital transformation.
• Proven track record of designing and executing data strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders across functions and markets.
• Experience leading complex portfolios, including demand management, business case development and benefits realisation.
• Broad knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud platforms and emerging analytics technologies.
