About the role

The Armed Forces Nursing Service (AFNS) offers female candidates the chance to serve as professional nurses within the Pakistan Army. Recruits will provide comprehensive medical care to soldiers, their families, and civilian personnel, contributing to the health readiness of the armed forces.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in military hospitals and field medical units.
• Assist physicians during examinations, surgeries, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical documentation.
• Participate in health camps, preventive medicine programs, and medical outreach activities.
• Ensure compliance with military health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Female, age 17‑25 years as of 01 November 2025.
• Educational qualifications: Matriculation with Science (minimum 60% marks) and FSc Pre‑Medical (minimum 50% marks) or a BSc in Nursing.
• Physical standards: minimum height 152.4 cm; weight within acceptable Body Mass Index range.
• Marital status: married or unmarried.
