About the role

J A S Accountants L.L.C is seeking four Assistant Accountants to join its Islamabad team. The role provides accounting and administrative support to the firm’s London and Dubai offices, offering practical experience with UK and UAE accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting and administrative support to the London and Dubai offices.
• Perform bookkeeping and related accounting tasks.
• Support taxation, VAT, payroll, UAE Corporate Tax and AML compliance activities.
• Follow applicable UK and UAE accounting, taxation and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and/or ACCA/CA studies.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good organisational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn UK and UAE accounting, taxation and compliance requirements.
• Previous UK or UAE accounting experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
