Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join Pak Plastic Industries in Karachi. The role focuses on managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and processing monthly payroll. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and compliant financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Age between 35 and 40 years.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as BusyWin and Tally.
• Hands‑on experience in payroll processing.
