Assistant Director – Civil Engineering

About the role

The Frequency Allocation Board (FAB) is seeking an experienced civil engineering professional to serve as Assistant Director (Civil). In this senior role you will lead the planning, design, and supervision of FAB’s infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and budgetary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise construction and maintenance of FAB infrastructure.
• Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and feasibility reports.
• Ensure compliance with engineering codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Oversee contractors and vendors to guarantee timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with government and private agencies for project approvals and implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC‑recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil project management, design, or supervision.
• Strong technical and administrative knowledge of construction practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
