Assistant General Manager – Marketing

About the role

Qarshi Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading FMCG company in Pakistan, is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager – Marketing to drive brand growth, market positioning and new product launches across its herbal, food and beverage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day marketing activities and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Lead brand management and market positioning for multiple product categories.
• Develop and execute trade‑marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and sales‑support programs.
• Conduct market research, consumer insight analysis and competitor benchmarking to uncover growth opportunities.
• Oversee digital marketing, media planning, public relations and brand communication across all consumer touchpoints.
• Support new product development by translating market trends and consumer preferences into actionable concepts.
• Plan, allocate and monitor the marketing budget, measuring ROI and ensuring profitability.
• Collaborate closely with senior sales leaders to align marketing tactics with sales targets.

Required profile

• MBA or BBA (preferably with a focus on Sales & Marketing) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10–12 years of operational and managerial marketing experience.
• Proven experience in FMCG, food & beverages, pharmaceuticals or natural‑medicine sectors.
