Assistant Manager Architecture

About the role

The Communication & Works Department of the Government of Punjab is seeking an Assistant Manager Architecture on a PPS‑7 contract basis. The role supports architectural design, documentation, compliance, and coordination for public‑sector infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to government standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support architectural design and planning activities for public‑sector projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, civil, and construction teams during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, building codes, and government regulations.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting processes.
• Assist senior architects in project reviews, approvals, and design evaluations.
• Support scheduling, cross‑team communication, and departmental documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (minimum 16 years of education) from a recognized institute.
• At least 3 years of post‑qualification experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector processes, compliance, and documentation workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
