Assistant Manager Cyber Security (App Security & Data Protection)

About the role

The Assistant Manager Cyber Security will support the protection of applications and data across the organization. The role involves providing security advice, implementing tools, and ensuring secure configurations for internal and external solutions such as Sharepoint and custom platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments for company‑wide projects, including design reviews and workflow validation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Manage threat identification, vulnerability management, and penetration testing across servers, network devices, databases, and software.
• Coordinate security upgrades, patch installations, and ensure critical findings are resolved before production.
• Deploy and maintain File Integrity Monitoring solutions and other security tools.
• Communicate cyber events to internal and external stakeholders and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 1 year in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT).
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CC, or CCNA are preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with security assessment and threat management processes.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools: Nipper, Metasploit, Netsparker, Nessus Professional, Tenable SC.
• Knowledge of patch management, security hardening, and file integrity monitoring.
