Assistant Manager – Distribution Strategy & Sales Capability

About the role

This field‑based sales support position is responsible for designing, executing and continuously improving distribution and route‑to‑market capabilities to drive sustainable volume growth. The role works closely with regional sales teams, combining data analytics with on‑site distributor and market visits to validate insights and implement practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DAP planning for the assigned region, including budget proposals, validation of monthly claims and field verification of resources.
• Support Work With Work Review (WWWR) by monitoring execution trends, sharing data insights and conducting field visits to validate observations.
• Coordinate the Distribution Assessment Model (DAM) – select distributors, compile assessment data, validate findings on‑site and recommend enhancements.
• Manage distributor ROI analytics, develop analytical models, link insights to DAP decisions and validate assumptions through market visits.
• Prepare quarterly and annual sales force incentive calculations and ensure timely processing with relevant stakeholders.
• Incorporate secondary sales targets into the system for TSEs, TSMs, ZSMs and distributor sales forces, enabling accurate performance tracking.
• Conduct structured distributor and market visits, produce diagnostic reports and work with regional teams on actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate the DSF Insurance program, acting as a bridge between sales teams and the vendor to resolve operational blockers and ensure timely premium reimbursements.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience within the FMCG industry.
