Assistant Manager, Electric Welder and Molder – Contract Positions

About the role

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking qualified professionals for three contract positions: Assistant Manager (Technical), Electric Welder, and Molder. The roles are based at the shipyard’s foundry and production facilities and involve hands‑on work in mechanical engineering, welding, and molding.

Key responsibilities

• Assistant Manager (Technical): Oversee mechanical projects, manage die and pattern development, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and coordinate with project teams.
• Electric Welder: Perform welding tasks in a foundry environment, maintain equipment safety, and adhere to quality specifications.
• Molder: Execute molding operations, handle foundry processes, and ensure the quality of cast components.

Required profile

• Assistant Manager (Technical): BE or DAE in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 8 years relevant experience, age up to 45 years.
• Electric Welder: Matriculation or Welding Trade Certificate, minimum 3 years relevant experience, age up to 35 years.
• Molder: Primary/Middle level education, minimum 5 years experience in molding activities, age up to 35 years.
