Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts (HVAC Industry)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead finance and accounting functions for our HVAC business in DHA Karachi. The role oversees daily financial operations, reporting, tax compliance and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records, general ledger entries, journal vouchers and ensure month‑end and year‑end closings are completed on time.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, MIS reports and profitability analyses for HVAC, fire‑fighting, plumbing and solar product lines.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, vendor reconciliations, customer ageing reports and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Coordinate tax filings, audit schedules and internal control procedures, working closely with auditors, tax consultants and banks.
• Support budgeting, cost control, financial planning and develop models for new business opportunities.
• Supervise junior finance staff, provide training and ensure effective use of ERP and accounting software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CA Inter, ACCA or ICMA preferred.
• 5–7 years of finance and accounts experience in trading, distribution or manufacturing, preferably in the HVAC sector.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, tax compliance, financial reporting and team supervision.
• High integrity, detail‑orientation and ability to work under pressure during closing periods.
