Assistant Manager Finance – Supply Chain

About the role

Unilever is seeking an Assistant Manager in Finance for its Supply Chain function at the Karachi Head Office. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, cost control, and strategic investment decisions across the manufacturing network while supporting the business to achieve its key targets.

Key responsibilities

• Govern monthly factory performance reporting, including conversion cost, efficiency and savings delivery.
• Prepare business cases for capacity enhancements and capability building.
• Monitor manufacturing variances and implement corrective actions to improve factory performance.
• Maintain standard costing, BOM governance and product costing accuracy within ERP systems.
• Lead inventory controls, stock reconciliations and physical verifications.
• Track waste, yields, labour and overhead performance against targets.
• Support month‑end closing activities related to inventory, manufacturing costs and factory provisions.
• Govern factory CAPEX, project tracking and post‑investment reviews.
• Ensure compliance with control frameworks and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Finance graduate or professional qualification (CA/ACCA).
• 3‑4 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in FMCG or cost controllership.
• Strong analytical mindset with detail‑oriented approach.
• High level of English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Resilience to work under time pressure and manage stakeholder expectations.
