Assistant Manager Financial Analysis

About the role

The Assistant Manager Financial Analysis will lead end‑to‑end pre‑ and post‑investment financial assessments, ensuring that projected benefits are realised and informing future investment planning. The role supports the formulation of investment strategies across existing and new business requirements and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑investment financial analysis to evaluate expected benefits and ROI.
• Perform post‑investment evaluations, comparing projected versus actual outcomes and identifying gaps.
• Provide financial analysis for investment strategy formulation for both existing and new business initiatives.
• Analyze USF (Universal Service Fund) lots and COW (Cell on Wheels) site investments in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain a centralized database of pre‑ and post‑investment evaluation results.
• Continuously improve ROI evaluation processes by researching innovative methodologies.
• Support line manager in task execution and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify, report, and mitigate compliance risks; support internal and external audits.
• Act as liaison for inter‑departmental coordination, managing trackers and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA/Master’s in Finance preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, CPA are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Strong communication, report‑writing and presentation abilities.
• Analytical thinking with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
