Assistant Manager – HR & Talent Acquisition

About the role

Edversity is seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Manager to lead its HR and Talent Acquisition functions in Islamabad. The role combines full‑cycle recruitment with day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring the company attracts top talent and maintains smooth employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for employees, interns, instructors, mentors and consultants across all departments.
• Collaborate with department heads to define job requirements and craft clear job descriptions.
• Post vacancies on LinkedIn, job portals, university networks and professional communities; screen applications, conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical interviews.
• Perform reference checks, prepare offer letters and maintain an up‑to‑date recruitment tracker.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines for frequently hired roles.
• Oversee instructor and academic talent hiring, including screening, teaching demonstrations and agreement management.
• Handle employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave records, probation reviews, performance coordination and exit processes.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and maintain databases of instructors, mentors and guest speakers.

• Ability to work independently while partnering closely with managers and senior leadership.
• Experience in full‑cycle recruitment and basic HR administration.
