Assistant Manager – Information Security

About the role

The Assistant Manager Information Security will support the implementation of the bank’s Information Security Framework and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with the security supervisor to protect the bank’s data, systems, and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in implementing the Information Security Framework according to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct roles and rights reviews for the Core Banking Application and perform user‑rights audits.
• Review and update Information Security policies, SOPs, and related procedures.
• Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities and prepare related reports.
• Monitor daily firewall logs, report incidents, and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Administer the SIEM server, design dashboards, and analyse logs to highlight key risk indicators.
• Help prepare IT risk indicators and establish IT security training environments for staff.
• Perform any other assignments given by the supervisor or senior management.

Required profile

• MS or minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in information security.
• Knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 27001 and ISO 22301.
• Relevant certifications in information security are preferred.
