Assistant Manager / Manager – Real Estate

About the role

HBFC is hiring one Assistant Manager / Manager for its Real Estate unit in Karachi. The post covers the record management of HBFC properties and the documentation and compliance work around them. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Record management of HBFC properties.
• Manage property documentation, including sale deeds, lease agreements, gift deeds, powers of attorney and transfer / mutation cases.
• Ensure documents are prepared, verified, biometrically recorded and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with legal teams for legal vetting and compliance with land laws.
• Liaise with government departments for taxation, fees and other charges on HBFC properties.
• Advise on property laws, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with civic agencies, internal and external customers.
• Assist the Head / Unit Head in reviewing and amending policies and procedures within the policy review cycle.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related field from an HEC-recognized program.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Age of 45 or less as of the application deadline.
