Assistant Manager – Odoo ERP

About the role

The company seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operation of its Odoo ERP system in Karachi. The role involves ensuring system stability, supporting users, and driving continuous improvement of ERP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operation of the Odoo ERP platform and monitor system performance.
• Resolve user issues promptly and provide technical support and training.
• Gather business requirements from internal departments and implement ERP solutions.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all ERP modules.
• Generate and analyse reports to support business decision‑making.
• Assist with ERP upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features.
• Document business processes, system configurations, and user manuals.
• Coordinate with developers or external vendors for customisations and bug fixes.
• Perform regular system audits, backups, and data validation.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience working with Odoo ERP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and functional modules.
• Basic development knowledge (Python, XML) for Odoo customisation.
• Familiarity with business process mapping and documentation.
