Assistant Manager - Portfolio Analytics

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Portfolio Analytics will support the External Asset Management (EAM) relationship managers and the Head of EAM coverage desk in onboarding, documentation and ongoing maintenance of EAM clients. The role also provides personalized service to Mashreq Private Banking clients and assists with reporting, automation and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support EAM RMs and Head of EAM coverage desk with onboarding, documentation, KYC and agreement maintenance.
• Provide personalized and standardized service to Mashreq Private Banking clients onboarded through EAMs.
• Conduct outbound calls to promote non‑investment campaigns to existing private banking clients.
• Deliver superior customer service within acceptable turnaround times while maintaining controls.
• Prepare monthly input files for performance scorecards across Frontline profiles.
• Streamline and automate key reports in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Unit.
• Review reports regularly, identify gaps and implement remedial actions.
• Work with Operations to upload portfolio change files and prepare MIS and ad‑hoc reports.

Required profile

• Graduate in any stream (finance preferred) with at least 5 years of experience in reporting and analytics.
• Experience in banking or service industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a pleasant personality.
