Assistant Manager – Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Manager – Procurement to support our bank’s procurement function. The role will manage end‑to‑end sourcing, vendor relationships and purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle, from requisition to purchase order issuance.
• Process RFQs, RFPs, tenders and related documentation.
• Evaluate, negotiate and select vendor proposals to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Conduct cost analyses, commercial evaluations and comparative assessments.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, performance management and due‑diligence activities.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, service levels and contract terms.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS dashboards, spend analysis reports and key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and provide sourcing support.
• Support third‑party risk assessments, audits and regulatory reviews.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement and automation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management or supply chain.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commerce or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with procurement systems.
