Assistant Manager PS Configuration Management

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead the configuration and operation of our PS Core network. The role covers Huawei PS Core platforms (ATCA, Cloud, SPC) and a range of data services from 2G to 5G, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain network availability at 99.999 % across SCP, VAS and Packet Core domains.
• Monitor and improve system KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage network data, documentation and KPI records for the PS/​VAS environment.
• Coordinate integration of new nodes, conduct HAT/PAT testing and oversee commissioning.
• Handle emergency situations with multiple vendors, replace faulty hardware and supervise upgrades/patches.
• Design and implement automated procedures to streamline daily operational tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in packet‑core or related telecom domains and at least 1 year of team‑lead experience.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Huawei PS Core (ATCA, Cloud, SPC).
• Knowledge of Packet Core, CDN, DNS and PCRF domains.
• Understanding of GSM international roaming mechanisms.
• Expertise in packet‑level troubleshooting and KPI monitoring.
• Familiarity with datacom equipment such as routers, switches and firewalls.
