Assistant Manager – Sales

About the role

Pakistan Engineering Works (PEW) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Sales to drive business growth across industrial, commercial, and government sectors. You will promote PEW's engineering products and manufacturing solutions while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
• Promote PEW's engineering products and manufacturing solutions to potential clients.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with key customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and pre‑qualification submissions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sales.
• Experience in heavy fabrication, steel structures, engineering equipment, construction materials, or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of tender documentation and procurement procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
