About the role
The Assistant Manager – Technical Training is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering technical training programmes for dealership technicians across the assigned region, aiming to improve technical competencies and ensure access to required tools and resources.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct technical training programmes for dealership technicians.
- Develop training curricula and specialised courses based on identified competency gaps.
- Conduct technical assessments, on‑the‑job training and dealership training audits.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments and skill competitions with Head Office.
- Manage regional training centre inventory, technical publications, tools and equipment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in automotive technical training, after‑sales, technical support or dealership operations.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics.
- Understanding of service operations and technical support.
