Assistant Manager, Tender

About the role

Run RECH's public and private tenders from sourcing to contract, ensuring every bid is complete, compliant and on time. The role also acts as the second senior person in the Tender function, supporting the Tender Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Track tenders on e-PADS, PPRA/SPPRA portals and newspapers, maintaining a master tender calendar.
• Assess each tender and recommend whether to bid.
• Prepare and submit technical and financial bids on time, coordinating with Regulatory, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Arrange bid securities and performance guarantees, maintaining a register until release.
• Handle evaluations, clarifications, samples, grievances and contract signing.
• Maintain tender files, portal credentials and the tender register in company systems.
• Prepare monthly reports on bids submitted, won, lost, win rate and pipeline.
• Deputise for the Manager when needed and build relationships with hospital procurement staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain or a science field.
• 6–8 years of tender management experience, including at least 3 years with medical device or pharmaceutical tenders for government hospitals.
• Working knowledge of PPRA and Sindh/Punjab procurement rules with hands‑on e‑PADS experience.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP Business One (preferred).
• Proficiency in using e‑PADS and PPRA/SPPRA portals.
