Assistant Manager Warehouse – Pharmaceutical Operations

About the role

Hoechst Pakistan Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager Warehouse to support pharmaceutical warehouse operations in Karachi. The role focuses on maintaining GMP compliance, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvement within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise GMP‑related warehouse activities and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits and inspections.
• Review, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead continuous improvement projects while safeguarding product quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage deviations, change controls, CAPA actions and associated timelines.
• Monitor inventory risks, maintain KPI dashboards and report performance.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Supply Planning and Procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse or related inventory management roles.
• Strong understanding of GMP/cGMP requirements and regulated warehouse environments.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as QA, QC and Production.

Required skills

• SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
