Assistant Professor – Biomedical Engineering (Remote)

About the role

The Assistant Professor will develop and deliver comprehensive course content in biomedical signal processing, medical imaging techniques, and clinical research methodologies. The role includes teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supervising research projects, and contributing to the university’s research output.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver lectures, laboratory sessions and tutorials for biomedical engineering courses.
• Develop and update course materials to reflect evolving technologies and industry standards.
• Supervise, mentor and evaluate student research projects, theses and dissertations.
• Conduct original research in biomedical engineering and publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in academic committees, curriculum development and quality‑assurance activities.
• Stay informed of advances in biomedical engineering and integrate them into teaching and research.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners on research projects and funding opportunities.
• Maintain professional registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council and adhere to university standards and ethical guidelines.
