About the role

The University of Sialkot seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor to join its faculty in the Sialkot District. The position involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, preparing course materials, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and labs for assigned courses.
• Prepare and update syllabi, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance with transparent grading and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in the relevant discipline.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committees.
• Mentor and advise students, hold regular office hours, and support extracurricular academic activities.

Required profile

• Relevant doctoral or master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated teaching ability and experience at the university level (preferred).
• Evidence of research potential or an established publication record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered pedagogy.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental initiatives.
