About the role

Riphah International University is looking for an experienced Assistant Professor in Psychology to join its academic staff in Islamabad. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students while contributing to the university’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses.
• Design, update, and improve course materials to reflect current research and developments.
• Supervise and mentor postgraduate research projects from proposal to completion.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in HEC‑recognized peer‑reviewed journals.
• Participate in departmental research groups, academic seminars, and university committees.
• Assess and grade coursework, assignments, and examinations with fairness and transparency.
• Contribute to curriculum development by integrating cutting‑edge psychological theories and methods.
• Organise workshops or seminars to support student learning and professional growth.
• Engage in community outreach and academic events to promote psychological education.

Required profile

• PhD in Psychology or a related discipline from an HEC‑recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching and research experience.
• Strong publication record in HEC‑recognized journals.
• Commitment to academic rigor, research excellence, and student development.
