Assistant Site Supervisor (Contract)

About the role

The Assistant Site Supervisor (Contract) will support on‑site project execution and coordination for fabrication, installation and maintenance activities at TSF Engineering Services in Karachi. Working closely with the Site Supervisor, you will help ensure that daily operations run smoothly, safely and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor in overseeing site operations and monitoring work progress.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors and suppliers to schedule tasks and deliver materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and engineering specifications.
• Maintain site documentation, prepare basic progress reports and communicate updates to project managers and engineering teams.
• Track the efficient use of tools, equipment and materials on‑site.

Required profile

• Experience in site supervision or coordination within fabrication, construction or industrial projects, preferably involving steel structures, pipelines or pressure vessels.
• Knowledge of basic engineering drawings, fabrication processes, welding operations and industrial safety practices.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with accurate documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical staff, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, construction management or a related technical field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Karachi with on‑site availability as required.
