Assistant Vice President – Retail Technology (AMS)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Retail Technology will lead the delivery, support and continuous improvement of the bank's self‑service channels, including ATMs, cash‑deposit machines, kiosks and payment systems. This senior position ensures high availability, security and regulatory compliance while driving technology transformation across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and stability of all self‑service channels and meet agreed SLA targets.
• Lead technology projects, application upgrades and enhancement initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Provide 24x7 support coverage across UAE and international regions, coordinating with offshore development teams.
• Manage change requests, releases and ensure minimal impact on business operations.
• Support audit, security and PCI DSS activities and address findings within agreed timelines.
• Oversee server patching, monitoring of servers and processes, and ensure disaster‑recovery environments are synchronized.
• Coordinate requirement gathering, SRS/BRD sign‑off and user‑acceptance testing (UAT) before production moves.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, perform root‑cause analysis of incidents and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale retail technology environments and multi‑regional operations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional project teams and offshore resources.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a focus on risk mitigation.
