Associate Business Developer / Upwork Bidder (Onsite)

About the role

Skylight Codeworks is seeking a motivated Associate Business Developer who will focus on generating new client opportunities through Upwork, LinkedIn, and outbound email campaigns. The role is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on business development experience who are eager to grow in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new projects by submitting competitive proposals on Upwork.
• Maintain and optimise Upwork profiles, proposals, and client communications.
• Design and execute LinkedIn outreach campaigns to connect with potential clients.
• Craft and send targeted outbound emails to generate qualified leads.
• Understand client requirements and produce compelling, tailored proposals.
• Track leads through a pipeline and report conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new projects.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Upwork bidding or business development.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and outreach techniques.
• Experience with cold emailing and outbound sales strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and eager to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
