About the role

The Pakistan Institute of Professional Studies is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Associate Professor to join its pharmacy faculty in Abbottabad Central. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, mentoring students, and advancing research aligned with contemporary pharmacy practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, lead tutorials and design course materials that meet current pharmacy education standards.
• Supervise student projects, mentor learners, and guide internships or clinical placements.
• Maintain accurate academic records, assessments and grading.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in pharmacy or related fields.
• Participate in academic committees, curriculum development and accreditation activities.
• Engage in professional development, collaborate with colleagues and contribute to community outreach events.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Pharmacy or a closely related discipline (PhD preferred).
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary level with a student‑centered approach.
• Proven research background, including publications and conference presentations.
• Strong communication, mentoring and academic advising abilities.
• Ability to collaborate on curriculum design, assessment strategies and institutional initiatives.
• Familiarity with contemporary pharmacy practice trends, regulatory frameworks and professional ethics.
• Commitment to integrity, professional conduct and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology and online learning tools.
• Competence in standard productivity software used in higher‑education settings.
