Associate/Assistant Professor – Psychology

About the role

The Department of Psychology at MY University in Islamabad is hiring faculty members at the Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels. Candidates will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures in various psychology subjects (clinical, cognitive, developmental, organizational, etc.).
• Supervise student research projects and theses.
• Publish research in peer‑reviewed, HEC‑recognised journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic advising.

Required profile

• HEC‑recognised degree: PhD (preferred for Associate) or M.Phil/PhD for Assistant.
• Associate Professor: 5‑7 years of university‑level teaching/research with publications.
• Assistant Professor: 2‑3 years of teaching/research experience; fresh PhDs may be considered.
• Specialisations preferred: Clinical, Organizational, Educational Psychology, or Neuropsychological Assessment.
