AutoCAD Draftsman - Static Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman specialized in static equipment for the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves creating detailed fabrication, general arrangement, and as‑built drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for static equipment fabrication.
• Develop GA, fabrication and as‑built drawings in line with project and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers, production and QA/QC teams to ensure drawing integrity.
• Review technical specifications, client drawings and project documents.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering comments.
• Generate material take‑offs and supporting documentation when required.
• Maintain drawing records, revision control and ensure compliance with ASME, client and project standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• 3‑7 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in the Oil & Gas or fabrication industry.
• Strong background in pressure vessel, heat exchanger, storage tank and structural/fabrication drawing.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes and engineering drawings.
