Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join Mobiz’s infrastructure team. You will design, build and operate enterprise‑scale Azure environments, ensuring they are secure, resilient and aligned with best‑practice frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual networks, compute, storage and security services.
• Develop hub‑and‑spoke network topologies, Azure landing zones and hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute and VPN gateways.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep and manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Apply Azure security controls such as Azure Policy, RBAC, Privileged Identity Management, Security Center, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery solutions using Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vaults and Site Recovery, maintaining RPO/RTO targets.
• Document standards, procedures and provide self‑service capabilities for operational teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and managing large‑scale Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, security and hybrid connectivity concepts.
• Hands‑on expertise with infrastructure‑as‑code and DevOps pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
