B2B & Wellness Sales Business Development Assistant

About the role

The Business Development Assistant will support Karavan’s growth by managing the sales funnel for corporate and retail wellness services. Working in a fast‑paced startup environment, you will convert leads into consultations and memberships while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on leads from events, referrals, website, social media and outreach.
• Engage retail clients, understand wellness goals and recommend services.
• Identify and contact companies, schools, workplaces and community groups to create corporate wellness partnerships.
• Conduct sales calls, consultations and discovery meetings to close deals.
• Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, meetings, proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain and update a structured CRM system with lead sources, activities and outcomes.
• Prepare tailored proposals and continuously improve sales scripts and objection‑handling material.
• Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly sales reports to management.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in a startup environment with a strong interest in health and wellness.
• Previous experience in B2B sales, corporate wellness, or client acquisition in health or education sectors.
• Excellent judgment, clear communication and resilience in handling rejection.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with outreach, operations and service delivery teams.
