Back End Developer

About the role

SMC Tech, a digital marketing agency, is looking for a full‑time Back End Developer to join its on‑site team in Haripur. You will create and maintain the server‑side applications and APIs that power the agency’s client‑facing marketing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure back‑end architectures.
• Integrate databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third‑party services.
• Build and document RESTful APIs for front‑end consumption.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot backend issues.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, designers and marketing specialists to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct code reviews, write documentation and follow best practices in software development and security.

Required profile

• Strong background in back‑end web development and general software engineering.
• Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming and writing maintainable code.
• Experience working closely with front‑end teams to integrate user interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and willingness to work on‑site in a collaborative environment.
