Big Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise Big Data platform. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and BI engineers to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for the enterprise Big Data platform.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and BI developers to deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure solutions meet operational, security, and compliance standards.
• Participate in daily project and production status meetings and provide rapid technical support.
• Mentor and train junior big data developers and architects.
• Design and implement scalable, near‑real‑time ingestion pipelines for low‑latency analytics.
• Architect high‑throughput streaming solutions with strong data consistency, reliability, and fault tolerance.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, integration, and analytics.
• Proven track record designing and implementing big data and analytics solutions.
• Experience leading teams of Data Engineers and BI developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily to the UK.
