BIM Engineer

About the role

The BIM Engineer will develop, manage and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models for cold‑formed steel projects, ensuring compliance with international building codes and client specifications. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with architects, civil engineers and MEP teams to deliver accurate construction, shop and fabrication drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D BIM models for Light Gauge Steel structures.
• Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings and production files for fabrication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts and support smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular model reviews, clash detection and technical documentation.
• Support on‑site construction activities with accurate, build‑ready outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Experience in cold‑formed steel or structural detailing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (including families, shared parameters and schedules).
• BIM 3D modeling, clash detection and model coordination.
• Knowledge of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) systems.
• Familiarity with Framecad or Strucsoft Metal.
• Understanding of MEP coordination within structural and architectural models.
• Ability to prepare construction, shop and fabrication drawings.
