Branch Manager (AVP) – Retail Banking

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan is seeking an experienced Branch Manager (AVP) to lead retail banking operations across multiple locations. The role focuses on driving deposit growth, delivering superior customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall branch management, including consumer, liability, and wealth management business (Conventional & Aitemaad).
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs by implementing branch sales strategies.
• Engage Existing to Bank (ETB) and New to Bank (NTB) customers to generate deposits and market retail banking products.
• Maintain high service standards, conduct customer satisfaction reviews, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure adherence to AML‑CFT, SBP PRs, and other compliance regulations.
• Lead audit processes and address audit findings effectively.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation; Masters degree preferred.
• At least 6 years of banking experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a branch manager, operation manager, or relationship manager role.
• Strong business acumen, analytical ability, and result‑driven mindset.
• Proven leadership and team‑building capabilities.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of branch banking operations.
• In‑depth understanding of AML‑CFT and SBP regulatory requirements.
• Complete product knowledge of conventional and Aitemaad banking services.
