Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner - Digital Assets

About the role

You will work closely with a global leader in the financial services sector to drive digital‑asset initiatives. Acting as a Senior Business Analyst and Proxy Product Owner, you will translate complex regulatory, compliance and technology requirements into actionable deliverables for blockchain‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business analysis for digital‑asset and blockchain projects, from discovery through delivery.
• Gather, validate and document functional, operational and control requirements, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Produce high‑quality artefacts such as BRDs, FRDs, process maps, gap analyses and test scenarios.
• Design current‑state and target‑state processes, including transaction lifecycles, approvals, reconciliation and audit controls.
• Identify requirement gaps, dependencies and risks, and drive timely clarification with stakeholders.
• Provide proxy product owner support: prioritize back‑log, coordinate stakeholders, manage governance meetings and track actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital assets, blockchain/DLT, cross‑border payments and real‑world asset tokenisation.
• Strong understanding of regulated financial‑services environments, including AML and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work across business, operations, legal, risk and technology teams.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with a focus on traceability and implementation readiness.
