Business Development Executive – Export

About the role

A packaging and manufacturing company in Karachi is hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive (Export) to develop international markets, generate overseas business opportunities and build long-term relationships with global customers. The role reports to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and independently approach international prospects and decision-makers.
• Conduct market research to find new export markets and opportunities.
• Build client relationships through LinkedIn, email, video meetings and outbound calls.
• Prepare export quotations and understand FOB, CIF, freight and landed-cost considerations.
• Represent the company at approved international trade exhibitions and manage follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal teams to turn prospects into business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience of 5-6 years in international business development, export sales or overseas client acquisition.
• Graduate in marketing, international relations or an equivalent degree.
• Strong English communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to generate leads independently and work directly with senior management.

Required skills

• Understanding of international trade, export costing and market research.
• Comfortable travelling to 3-4 approved international exhibitions per year.

What we offer

• Salary of approximately PKR 150,000 - 180,000 per month plus company benefits.
