Business Development Executive

About the role

Marcus Evans is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join its Summits division in Islamabad. The role focuses on market research, lead generation and supporting event‑driven marketing campaigns. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify high‑value prospects and help grow sponsorship revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research to identify senior decision‑makers such as CEOs, CFOs and Directors aligned with event themes.
• Develop and maintain targeted prospect databases using CRM systems, industry databases and LinkedIn.
• Gather, verify and keep market intelligence up‑to‑date to support marketing campaigns and event development.
• Analyze industry trends and geographic regions to pinpoint high‑value business opportunities.
• Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at generating qualified leads and sponsorships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance the reach and effectiveness of event marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or diploma, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
• 1‑2 years experience in email marketing, research or lead generation.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to thrive in a performance‑driven culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CRM systems for prospect management.
