Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive drives business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships and promoting the company's products and services. The role needs a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to turn prospects into long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking and proactive outreach.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Hold client meetings, give presentations and run product/service demonstrations, communicating effectively in English.
• Understand client needs and work with internal teams to tailor solutions.
• Lead negotiations and close deals that meet company objectives and revenue targets.
• Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline with timely follow-ups and documentation.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and performance analyses for management.
• Work with marketing and product teams on lead-generation campaigns and market expansion.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and market conditions to spot new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive or similar client-facing role.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, able to influence decision-makers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office and other sales productivity tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
