Business Development Executive – Outbound Sales & Upwork

About the role

Expertizo is a software development agency serving clients in the US, UK and EU. We are expanding our outbound sales capability and need a mid‑level Business Development Executive to lead outreach, generate qualified leads and drive client acquisition across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute cold‑email campaigns targeting US and UK prospects.
• Write and optimise email copy and follow‑up sequences.
• Manage LinkedIn outreach and lead‑generation activities.
• Conduct or supervise cold‑calling to secure meetings.
• Improve Upwork bidding strategy by submitting selective proposals.
• Build and qualify lead lists using Apollo, LinkedIn and similar tools.
• Guide and mentor 1–2 junior team members.
• Track, analyse and improve reply rates and meeting generation.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in business development, B2B sales or lead generation.
• Proven ability to run outbound sales campaigns across email, LinkedIn and Upwork.
• Strong communication skills and a results‑driven mindset.
