Business Development Executive – Staffing & BPO

About the role

Remote Scouts is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition for its staffing, staff‑augmentation and BPO services. You will focus on high‑growth, niche verticals such as healthcare, IT, skilled trades, finance, and accounts‑receivable management, leveraging AI‑enabled prospecting tools to build a qualified pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients across specialized verticals, using intent‑signal platforms, LinkedIn scanning and automated account research.
• Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach and pitching to proposal development, negotiation of MSAs/SOWs, and contract closure.
• Position solutions around quality, compliance and skills‑based matching, and articulate dedicated‑team and near‑shore delivery models.
• Coordinate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure onboarding meets SLA and compliance expectations.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross‑selling into adjacent service lines.
• Track pipeline and forecasts in a CRM system and report on conversion metrics.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of B2B sales or business development experience in staffing, staff augmentation, or BPO/RPO with a proven record of new client acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets in a consultative, slower‑growth market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA a plus) and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted prospecting tools.
• CRM expertise – Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho.
