Business Development Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong civil engineering background to lead both the acquisition and execution of construction projects for our client. The role combines sales, tendering and full‑cycle project management on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new commercial, industrial and infrastructure contracts through direct client engagement and tendering.
• Prepare competitive proposals and bids by reviewing BOQs, architectural and structural drawings.
• Oversee project lifecycles from groundbreaking to handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, equipment suppliers and labor teams to maintain project momentum.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants and regulatory authorities during delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (PEC registration required).
• 6–10 years of combined experience in civil project execution and technical sales/business development.
• Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate and close high‑value B2B projects.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of construction methodologies and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with contract types such as FIDIC and local contracts.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for schedule management.
• Experience with BOQ estimation and tender preparation.
