Business Development Manager – Construction Sector

About the role

Our client is looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to grow its presence in the construction sector across Pakistan. You will identify new market opportunities, build strong relationships with developers, contractors, architects and consultants, and turn leads into long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with builders, contractors, developers, PMC firms, architects and government bodies.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with key decision‑makers through site visits, meetings and regular follow‑ups.
• Lead RFP/RFQ responses, prepare technical‑commercial proposals and present solutions using company marketing assets.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to C‑level stakeholders, consultants and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with marketing to create up‑to‑date brochures, case studies, spec sheets and project portfolios.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, upcoming projects and government infrastructure plans, feeding insights to product and strategy teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, operations and finance to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in construction, infrastructure, building materials or EPC.
• Existing network of developers, contractors, consultants and architects in the Pakistani market is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
