Business Development Manager – Huawei Solar Portfolio

About the role

Diwan International is seeking Business Development Managers to promote Huawei’s solar and energy solutions across Pakistan. The role involves generating new business, managing key accounts and collaborating with EPC partners in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of Huawei’s complete solar and energy portfolio within the assigned region.
• Manage end‑to‑end key‑account cycles, from opportunity development to order closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC firms, corporate and industrial customers.
• Identify and develop a healthy sales pipeline for solar projects, BESS and EV charging solutions.
• Coordinate with internal pre‑sales, technical, service and commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required); BBA/MBA preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in the solar industry, preferably with Tier‑1 inverter brands.
• At least 1 year of pre‑sales and sales experience for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Established network with industrial customers, corporate organisations and EPC companies in Pakistan.
• Strong English communication skills and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of industrial‑scale solar inverters (C&I and residential).
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Familiarity with EV charging solutions, including Huawei EV chargers.
