Business Development Manager

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd is seeking a full‑time Business Development Manager to work on‑site in the Crescent Zone of Karachi. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with individual and corporate clients, and promoting EFU Life’s life insurance and takaful portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
• Conduct market research, analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for proposals, underwriting and customer service.
• Prepare regular performance reports and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor and support the sales team, and represent EFU Life at meetings, events and customer engagements.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a competitive environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Integrity, customer‑centric mindset and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in English and local languages; willingness to travel within the Karachi Crescent Zone.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM or sales‑management tools.
• Comfort with digital platforms and mobile applications.
